You had some patience. I bought a master tow dolly to tow my first Town & Country. Towed it once for about 300 miles and couldn't stand it. Sold it and went 4 down with a lube pump and UTB. Best decision in a long time. On my second dodge with remco and utb with no issues at all.
May I ask why you "couldn't stand it" ?
I have been towing 4 down for a few years, no real problems at all
But now that the "dollie nitemare" is over, I can't see any difference between the hassle of a towbar, or a dolly. They both take about the same time to hook up.
I have read about clearance problems and body damage using the turntable dollys, but not so w/ the steerable wheels on the Demco Karkaddy. It corners beautifully, exactly like the towbars did. Not only that, I can drop a pin in the steering, and back this dolly up for a city block if need be
If you were to complain about "where to put the Dolly", that could be a ligit complaint at times I'd guess..
