IMHO I won't put velcro or adhesive any where on my RV.
I was at a Class A rally and one vendor had outdoor sun shades that affixed with suction cups. I bought them and have to admit they worked real well. Only thing is they charged an arm and a leg for them.
You could achieve the same by going to a big box store and buying sun shade material and adding the suction cups yourself.
