US post new Mexican travel warnings
The Sun Nuevo Leon the area south of El Paso is number one to avoid. The whole border area besides that is 'reconsider travel'. The country is becoming another Somalia

I arrived in Weslaco, TX which is about 5 miles from Nuevo Progreso Mexico on December 10th. So far I have driven over once and walked over once. Last year I stayed in this same area and went over at least 10 times if not more. Going again Monday or Tuesday. One of the safest places I have ever been.
