People travel to war zones and areas known for kidnapping and then when something bad happens they want their government to rescue them. It not my job to rescue people from foolish decisions.
Mexico is in a de-facto state of war. Did anybody here see what happened when the police tried to arrest the son of El Chapo a few weeks ago? Tell me the last time something like that happened in the USA? I'm waiting. Comparing the dangers of travel and life in Mexico to the dangers of travel and life in the USA is absurd and I think even the people doing so in this thread know it's absurd.
You won't find me going there in a RV, but if you want to go "knock yourself out", as they say.
