x2 on your map, your rules. Perhaps it should be modified in this case to "your map, your wife's rules," especially if that leads to greater domestic tranquility.
My rule for my map is spending a night in the RV in the state. Some people have other rules, and some figure the map applies to them rather than the RV. (If it's just having personally visited the state, I could fill in every single state.)
I've never heard of anyone being denied entrance to a state because it's already filled in on their map. :B
