Okay, I can kind of see some logic to it when there are intersections to worry about blocking. But definitely not on the interstate. If there is two lanes of traffic combining to one lane of traffic, there is going to be a finite number of vehicles capable of traveling over that one lane of highway. Doesn't matter whether you "zipper" them in or have them merge waaaay back. But if it's a merge way back, then I'm not happy with some AW that passes all the rest of the line so he can go to the head of it. Nope, not going to suck it up and be courteous. I'm being courteous by not being that AW.
