Suggest starting with an offer of $500 to anyone who will take it off your hands.
(and I would want a lot more before I would touch it.)
Man, what on earth does a comment like this hope to accomplish? Are we trying out for a part in a new grumpy old men movie?
OP, I think I'd start with an ad on Craigslist. They have a section for rvs and camping. Or perhaps contact the membership club to see if they buy back memberships. We know a couple who were able to "give up" a timeshare that way. They got no money but didn't have to pay any more annual fees. Good luck.
I had to laugh, you slam valhalla360 for asking $500.00 and you suggest giving it away for nothing. Thanks for the laugh today.
Not slamming at all. If you read the post, he said to pay someone $500 to take it away and at that price he wouldnt touch it. His post really did nothing to try to help out the OP. And, if you had actually read my post, you would realize my suggestion was to try CL or try to sell it back. My comment about friends being able to give up their timeshare for nothing as to merely show they shouldn't expect too much if they go that route. But, thanks for the good laugh! And remember, RIF (reading is fundamental)!
