No you do not need a WD for that trailer with the new truck. BUT, what I have noticed with nothing..... the trailer rocks more side to side without, vs less with a basic WD system, even less with a dual cam.
As far as sway goes. Every trailer I have owned that did a true fishtail sway, was loaded incorrectly. Hence why I and a few others will make sure a trailer will tow straight behind a given truck without bars, then add the bars as an additional safety item. I personally will not depend upon bars to control a trailer that wants to sway with out them. To me, this is a lot like using a bandaid when I need a tourniquet to stop the bleeding!
