Using a tow dolly

I have a recently purchased Class A motorhome. My current vehicle (a 2013 honda accord) is not flat towable. I have been thinking about getting a tow dolly rather than selling my accord and looking for a flat towable vehicle. My question is, can my accord be towed on a tow dolly even though the steering wheel locks when the vehicle is turned off (also, the transmission can't be left in neutral because the push button ignition system won't allow the power to turn off in neutral)? I have read conflicting information about whether the steering wheel needs to be unlocked or locked when using a tow dolly. Any clarification would be appreciated.

    Most likely your accord can be towed on a tow dolly. I'd still look it up. For my tow dolly the steering wheel is required to be looked. Can't help you with other tow dollies. Mine is a Johnson trailer tow dolly which is very similar to the Master Tow. You don't put the car in neutral since its a front wheel drive.

    Did you check the owners manual under dinghy towing? Maybe it will tell you how to dolly tow.

    Of course you can put your Accord on a dolly. Front wheel drive, put the front wheels on the dolly.

    If your Accord wants it's steering to be locked, you use a swivel tow dolly.

    I highly recommend the Kar Kaddy steerable tow dollies. I had one years ago that I towed my Chrysler PT Cruiser on. It worked great!
    However, like a fool, I sold it because it had no brakes. I regret that!
    Yes, the Kar Kaddys are expensive, but IMO they are worth it.
    Quite often a used one can be found for 1/2 or even 1/4 of the new price.
