Va State Parks & Dog fees
A while back we had a thread going with the pro's and con's of the Va State Park Dog fee's ($5 per night, per dog-max 3 nights) there were a lot of thoughts of better ways to offset the "cost" of pet'...

So if I understand this right there is a pet fee due to complaints. I then assume the complaints are about owners not cleaning up after their pet before leaving.
can I then assume the fee goes toward the cost of the park having an employee or volunteer cleaning up after the dogs?
This of course means as I am paying a fee to have my site cleaned after I leave I no longer am expected to pick up my dogs POO?
I write this tongue in cheek but this is the logic many people will use to not pick up or to protest the fee.
Just saying food for thought.
