Va State Parks & Dog fees
A while back we had a thread going with the pro's and con's of the Va State Park Dog fee's ($5 per night, per dog-max 3 nights) there were a lot of thoughts of better ways to offset the "cost" of pet'...

So dogs that bark don't like camping? From my experiences (and forgive me as I'm only 44yrs old), but people still take barking dogs camping. Will $5 discourage them because their dog barks or doesn't bark? Does $5 make it ok for those who won't be discouraged, to bring their dogs? None the less what e complainers say? If complaints are that bad, then why not allow dogs at all? If people started complaining more a out other issues (loud music, rampant kids, etc) are they just gonna add a fee for that too?
Seriously, it's stupid to me. They are out to make more money and they picked this as a reason. They know people are going to pay the fee and still bring their yappers. Just be truthful about it Virginia State Parks, and don't make excuses for it that really don't make any sense.
