value added for blue ox towing setup

I'm thinking of selling my 2005 Saturn Vue that is set up for towing with blue ox equipment with brake buddy etc. got a value from KBB for the value of the Vue but wonder how much I should add for blue ox aventa II, brake buddy, etc. any ideas.

  • Unless you want to scare off all those who don't need a baseplate and brake light wiring, remove it and sell it on CL. I did and got great money for it.
  • By adding that to the vehicle, you will be seriously limiting the number of folks who will be interested. On the other hand, if you have potential buyers, you can sweeten the pot if they are RVers, and tell them you already have the setup for towing.

    Bumpy,

Just ask a fair price and get it Sold.

Will cost more to take it off than you'll get for it.

Don't see a lot of 05 baseplates being sold.

    JMHO,
  • It's like having a pool. It will help to sell it if they want one and will scare off those that don't.

  • thanks, the baseplate consists of those two tubes into which the connecting parts slide. perhaps Craig's list is the best idea for the braking system and the tow bars.
