valve stem extension stabilizers

I have been reading about some having issues with valves stem extensions, causing tire air loss issues. I read that the rubber stabilizers could prevent this issue.

Has anyone used these Alcoa ones? What did you think of them, good, bad?

Still have to figure out exactly which size ones will work on my Ford wheels. The wheel "trim cover" openings don't seem to line up exactly with the wheel openings. Not sure how to correct that issue..maybe swap the trim rings with the other side and see if they were installed wrong, or?
  • Probably going to get answers of what has worked for people that have had success with their set up, which might be entirely different than yours.
  • To stabilize my flexible extensions, I found chrome plated fender washers that were larger than the holes in the stainless wheel covers. The valve stem fit perfectly into the center of the washer then I put a nut onto the threaded part of the stem. They stay put and look good too.
