Let me clarify my statements by saying YES pedestrians do have the right of way. No one has argued that. But if I were diving on a paved roadway through a campground and I was blocked by children simply because their parents didn't have the respect and courtesy to tell their children to move out of the roadway, I would have the same attitude as the OP. I would think any one of you would feel the same way. If you're ever trying to maneuver your rig through a CG and my kids are in the way, I will be the polite parent and move them and their belongings so you aren't blocked. That's all there is to it.
The issue was you implied that you shouldn't have to stop simply because the kids are in your way.
