I think the OP ( and the 2 or three others who agreeed with him) should re-evaluate his place behind the wheel of a multi-ton vechicle and get some counseling if he feels justified in proceeding putting others in harm just because they would not get out of his way. How about some actions he should have taken such as calling the ranger station? I personally add the parks number to my phones contact list. How about applying some peer pressure from the others who would be held up in back of him? I could go on... Then the OP has the audacity to post his tale as there must be others who feel the same way. Seriously, if you do feel this way get a grip and talk to a professional.
Oh and guess what? In Florida, they have this thing called Stand your ground. Gues what the Dad would have been justified in doing if this happened in FLA?
