Well its one of two things.

Either the OP needs more road than others when driving or the fishing people were truly idiots.

Both are likely telling very different stories of what happened and this will be yet another issue that the internet will never know the true answer.

I've seen plenty of idiots standing in narrow areas that large rigs are trying to get past.

I've also seen plenty of idiots driving RV's with 4 ft on each side acting like there is only 4 inches.
