I have a similar story. Leaving a campground a month ago. Coming around a turn at the end of the road i come up on 2 kids on bikes one of whom is approx. 9 and sees me and moves over. The other kid, the younger brother approx. 5 is on a bike with training wheels, doesn't see me the father who is standing there tells the kid to move, doesn't go get him just yells at him to move, really?! So i also wait, but the kid is still in the same spot trying to get over a small berm. So i wait almost a minute before the dad finally comes over and helps the kid over. I give the dad a good look, so he knows he's the biggest idiot dad i've ever come across! Yes i know where the OP os coming from, as i'm sure many of the posters here have also.
