Never leave a powercord coiled. The electrons will get dizzy and fall damming up the flow of the electrons behind them in the pipe line. :)
We have 25' of RV cable coiled in the bay so it is out of the way because the 12 gauge extension cord is long enough. I do not want to drive/walk over the RV cord so I just use the light weight cord all of the time.
