I don't remember a time when Travel Trailers weren't allowed on the Parkway. Tractor Trailers are not allowed on the parkway, at least the Northern half, don't remember the mile marker. That is indeed North Jersey as the Parkway is 4 lanes.

Last time I lived back there, there were toll booths with baskets in some lanes and toll takers in others... and it was only a dime to pass though! I knew semi- tractor trailer in the north section were not allowed but I guess I had forgotten that TT's were allowed.
Back then, the entertainment venue was named the Garden State arts Center... now I think it is some corporate sponsor name... that was back in the day when the Meadowlands arena was called the Brendan Byrne Arena. *sigh*... a long time ago:(
