No weight distribution.
End of story.
NOT so! Been there and done that.
Had sway control and load leveling but the load was too much for the TV. Tail starts wagging the dog and it's all over!
Trailer broke from truck and laid on it's side.
Towed same trailer later with dually no sway or load leveling with ZERO issues.
PROPER weight distribution is ALWAYS preferable to NO weight distribution no matter HOW big the tow vehicle.
If you wrecked your trailer WITH weight distribution and DIDN'T wreck it WITHOUT when you band-aided your problem by going with a huge bumper-pull tow vehicle, then the problem originally arose with your incompetent improperly set up weight distribution hitch and mismatched tow vehicle.
Anyone who thinks, "Dude, I gots me a big ole truck, I ain't need no weights disturbation" is most probably clueless as to how to properly set up weight distribution (and/or sway control) and most definitely ignorant to the necessity of such.
I see hundreds of trucks and SUVs using terribly adjusted weight distribution with the backs of the trucks squatted, bars pulled up as high as they will go, front of the trailer pitched down...just completely clueless. Death waiting to happen.
Those type of people SHOULD have a huge oversized tow vehicle with rocks for rear suspension...again, most times it's a band-aid for ignorance of proper hitch set-up.
