Yeah, how it went from a fairly peaceful and leisurely drive to a Russian car crash video in just a few years is a wonderment. :R
FWIW, I filled my Winters for a few years driving folk's delayed or misplaced luggage from the Airport to their house. I'd log about 40K-50K a season at this. It took about two years until I could shrug off the poor driving habits of other motorists and not get upset. If you drive for a living, you just have to get over it.
Commuter traffic in urban areas is the worst. Our freeways are getting packed fuller and a lot of folks think that they are in some type of race environment. Surprisingly, I see a lot of aggressive driving from young gals in small cars. Also, tail gating is ubiquitous. It only takes a small deviation from typical traffic flow to spawn an accident.
