It's Spring Break here in Panama City and it's pretty bad down here. Three kids just had a serious wreck near my house on Saturday and one of them died. He swerved into another car and wrecked both of them. The passengers were seriously injured and no one has been able to determine the actual cause. None of them were wearing seatbelts and all three were ejected. They don't even know which one was driving.
A couple of years ago a car load of spring breakers swerved into on-coming traffic and had a head-on with a pickup truck. All six girls in the car were killed. Alcohol wasn't a factor. The police think the 18 year old driver was just distracted.
It's gotten where I see stuff like this daily from distracted drivers. They're weaving all over the road as they send text messages or turn around to carry on a conversation with someone in the back seat.
Combine the distracted drivers with the increased traffic nowadays and you take your life in your hands every time you go somewhere.
