Other drivers are a pet peeve for just about everyone. We all think we are better/safer drivers than average. Pretty much none of us are, and if you think you are, I am even more sure you are not. And I'm not immune - other drivers anger me as well.
Fact is, driving has never been safer than it is today. What society may lack in manners, is more than made up for by safer vehicles. Additionally, the best drivers are those on the urban freeways. Yes they can be the most annoying and self-centered, but the skills are there too. Simply due to practice, often for several hours a day, in the worst possible traffic conditions.
As much as I would like to go into great detail about what makes me angry every day commuting to work, I won't.
