We just wrapped up an 8,00 km trip down to Key West, around Florida, up to the Panhandle, then home across Alabama, Tennessee then north into PA, NY. I thought Ottawa drivers were questionable but man, the farther south we got the more redoinculous the skills became. I think US states need to really up the fines for texting, it was prevalent. Signalling? Pretty clear airbags get used more than turn signals. And, in southern Florida, people would just blindly pull out, regardless of 22,000 lbs of RV coming at them. Heck, in Alabama I had two people indicate to me that my headlights were on -- they're daytime running lights.
The best electronic highway signs in TN and AL? "Turn signals - the original instant messaging system". I don't think it was helping.
I ran the whole trip with my dashcam running, I'm sure I have some good shenanigans on it; I hit "save" whenever I saw something good.
