Been there.... Only it was my wife that I had to explain why we don't put potato skins down the drain.
I have had 5 "foreign object" issues so far with my macerator. All occurred while dumping black water. All required disassembly and repair of the pump. Great fun when it is full of "black".
When something gets stuffed into the pump it seams to always tear the vanes on the impeller.
What great fun we get to have :)
