69 to 50 is an easy drive. Then you'll head west on 50 and do Monarch Pass. With your rig it will be a good drive. Continuing 50 west is very easy. When you get to 92 and north to Crawford it is a two-lane very curvy road but no hills. It follows the curve of the river. Or...you can continue on 50 west to Montrose and head north to Delta, than east on 92 to Hotchkiss and 92 south to Crawford. That northern end of 92 isn't as curvy as the southern end. We've driven all those roads with our 40' motorhome.
You might want to pick up a copy of the Mountain Directory - West (it comes in East, also). We use it all the time even though we love traveling the western mountains and it's a good refresher when doing those roads over again.
Crawford State Park is in a beautiful setting but your major city is Montrose. The smaller towns have very adequate grocery stores though. That area is on the warm side in the summer so I hope your site has a tree!
