Now here is the funny part about the Washington potential shutdown.
They will not sell lottery tickets for any lottery drawing July 1 or later, because the state lottery commission will be one of the agencies which will have to close their doors.
So I couldn't buy my normal Powerball ticket on Monday for the Wednesday and Saturday drawings. Could only buy a ticket for the Wednesday night drawing.
Having been in Washington state for about a month - the potential shutdown really isn't a big deal to most people.
The presumption is the legislature and the governor will come up with a last minute solution.
And that if the state government did start to shutdown - the people will make their displeasure known to their legislators.
