I think it's rude and not good camping etiquette...Oh, when we are outside, so are our two boxers. They're chained up of course...but it is handy:)..Don't need the electric fence, would take up too much room :)
..Never been rude to anyone that cut through one of our campsites....my dogs may have showed some zeal to be petted.....they wouldn't bite, just want to lick you into oblivion, and jump on you, unless told to "heel".
Really sociable, but I don't walk through anyone else's campsite, would expect others to respect that and not walk through mine...no big deal....just common courtesy I think.
