That all sounds very nice, but the reality is:
1. The amount of money spent by overnight RVers is so small to the overall revenue of Walmart, that it would be a surprising small percentage. I bet is something like 0.0001%!
2. One Rver in an out of the way part of a parking lot is one thing, but some Walmarts have become campgrounds with dozens of RVs parked blocking customer's access to the store and some parked for days or weeks at a time. Some even leave trash, dump tanks, and sunken spots in the asphalt from the leveler jacks.
With respect: Also the reality is WM philosophy: Make the sale no matter how small. Make the sale.. Make the sale. Make the sale. 0.0001% is small, yes, but it is a sale, therefore good.
WHEN AND IF, city ordinances aside, parking lot activity starts to interfere with or decrease sales WM will quickly eliminate the problem.
You can bet the bank on that.
I know this sounds as if I am anti-WM. I am not. WM is one of the best at marketing and have every right to legally maximize sales and profits.
