Our local Walmart had a probem. Local RV parks didn't like the competition. City made an ordinance. Nobody honors it and it really isn't enforced. Don't see the signs anymore. As a retired LEO I see a lot of Walmarts that don't allow overnight are in high crime areas. There probably is higher liability for Walmart to promote the overnight parking. I see more bums in a lot of the Walmart parking lots that allow overnight parking. I personally feel more comfortable in truck stops. Safer? Who knows. At least I see less bums.
