I see Walmart has my size of Carlisle Radial Trail HD on sale for a great price - - there is a Walmart Tire & Lube Express about 20 miles from my house, but reviews seem to be inconsistent at best....some 5 star, others 1 star. My local tire shops (Les Schwab and Point S) carry Towmax and Transporter, respectively) but I could save about $200 on the Walmart/Carlisle option....probably a better tire than either Towmax or Transporter. My trailer uses ST205/75R15 C tires. Anyone with points to consider using Walmart as a tire installer? It appears the biggest complaints about WM is the longer wait for installation. Thanks!

I'd go with Goodyear Endurance in the same size except move up to load range D. Les Schwab and Discount Tire can order them for you.

My C rated tires have about 2800 lbs of weight capacity to spare as 4 of they will carry about 7480 lbs max, and my trailer weighs about 4600 lbs fully loaded. So going D is probably overkill, and my rims may not be rated for the higher pressure anyway.

used tow max on my boat trailers for years back @forth from ohio to AZ not problem. boat is about 2800# ,carlisle I don,t buy them from past history of being junk ,they should stick to lawn mower tires.
