Well, I would not be so sure.. I used to have a friend (We both moved in different directions) who ran a business. he wished to expand and of course there were objections to his new license application (required for his expansion) from companies 50-100 miles away with whom he would never compete at all..

What happened is these companies formed an association and the association lawyers filed objections to ALL such license applications no matter where in the state they were located.

The Campground owners assn is like this, it approaches ALL governments with it's bull stuff and tries to get 'em to prohibit.

Now why.. Well if "little town with no campgrounds" prohibits, then you can use that as an argument for "Big city 10 miles from Campground". and so on.

And that is exactly what they do.. Its all politics.. And as you know Poli (Well Poly) = Many and Ticks are blood sucking parasites.
