She is coming from NY and there is a good possibility her question could have been WPB to Key West and I know for a fact overnighting is allowed in WPB.
OP, you stand a better chance of finding a CG in Marathon... dry camping is NOT allowed anywhere in the Keys. Day trip to Key West in your class C from there although going there is not high on my list of things to do... especially with small grandkids as there are too many fruits and nuts on display. Also do not go the week before and after bike week at Daytona unless you like load exhaust noise 24/7.

If you overnight in WPB I would get on the turnpike there by going a little further west on 45th to Military Trail and then south to Okeechobee Rd and west to the turnpike. You will get a bill in the mail based on the RVs tag.

Same experience that we had trying to purchase in Las Vegas. With Barney Fife standing there, I called our family member and told them to leave the cart where it stood and go next door to the Walgreen's where we were moving. Thanked Barney and suggested he go inside and help place the items back on the shelf and the ice cream back to the freezer. His rant seemed to deflate at that point.

I think all Walmart RV Resorts are fine Resorts. They have plenty of room for large rigs. They have a great general store for all your RV needs. Most have fine dinning such as Mc Donald's, Subway, Burger King. In a few locations when there is heavy rain they have wading pools to play in for the kids. On real sunny hot days you can go inside the resort and cool off by opening the door to the freezer cooling station's. Best of all they offer great people watching station that gives you hours of entertainment.
