Dutch, in your defense, there's not really much to do about it. Had you read the contract up front and objected to the terms, they would have said "no deal". Sign it or don't sign it, the choice is yours.
Consumer loans like this get sold as a portfolio to investors, and it's important that every contract have the same terms...they are not going to make an exception for one guy.
Now that you know what you got, you plan accordingly, which it sounds like you've done!
For the OP, Ron3rd is correct, once the ink is dry the profit is booked....there are no refunds on service contracts like these. The time to decide you didn't want it was before you signed, not after. Besides, maintenance and repairs for 5 years sounds like worry-free RVing, assuming the service contract was from a real company, not one of these fugazy guys that has no participating dealers.
