Adco has changed their models over the years. The 1st I had was Tyvek, I got 7 years out of it taking special care to keep it for billowing in the wind. Adco then changed models and I ended up with the cheap one to replace the 1st. It shredded the 2nd winter. I had no trailer damage from either.
I now have a Calmark, a whole different ball game. Time will tell how it holds up, this is only the 3rd year. No damage so far to the trailer or the cover. Other then the price, the only con I have is it's a lot bulkier and heavier to put on the trailer.
