Easy for you to say but not many overall have the luxury of some sort of hard structure under which they can park an RV, for the vast majority of us it's outdoors either covered or uncovered. I personally don't cover during the camping season as it's FAR too much work installing & removing a cover but do cover it each winter. 2 years ago I had the opportunity to store indoors and will again each winter from now on but if that option weren't possible I'd always cover the trailer with my ADCO Tyvek Designer series cover. No question about it, I disagree completely with the OP.
