For some, the financing overhead is worth spending time with their kids and family whilemthey are growing up.
Our goal is to spend quality time together as a family as often as possible. A fat bank account sometime in the future when I am old, purchased by skipping family opportunities now, is not our goal.
Kudos if you have the $$ to buy all cash, but those who do not aren't "wrong" either.
Depends on your goals, but even then, it is sometimes more about the journey, not the destination. Follow your own path.
