As for me I retired 2.5 years ago from an IT support job, couldn't wait to get away from the constant on call cell phone 7-24-365. I had to wait 'til 66 for my wife to get mecicare, couldn't afford health insurance bills before.
I love waking up and not having to do what some one else thought I should be doing. I've been pleasantly surprised that I don't have to get work to supplement my income NY state & feds are not collecting taxes any more!
Was able to buy a small TC (found it was to small) and then to a small used TT. So between grand kids & camping life is good. But this summer been a bummer with health issues, hope to be back camping in Oct.
