Op, it looks like you have used your class C a good amount over the last 12 years... able to take a fair amount of time off so you've had some of the benefits of retirement like I have while still working.
My father died one year after retiring... Cancer. Being self employed we have traveled extensively in Europe and North America for 40 years. For the last 12 years we have tried to be half timers... Three months Snowbirding and another couple out west. I still enjoy working and have plenty of heavy equipment to play with... actually have retired multiple times over last several years but the company I've been working for keeps making me an offer I can't refuse. OK, now that the work would be out of town I'm RETIRED working for someone else... still have plenty of my own projects.
I'd suggest going half time... Its worked well for me.
