Retirement was a great decision for me. I'm really glad we retired while we were still healthy and got to do some traveling and cruising and a lot of things we couldn't while we were working. My wife's health is now starting to fail and we now aren't able to do as much. There are still some things we wanted to do, but overall, we are very happy we had the time to do what we did. I thought I'd get bored too, since I bore easily, but I'm still waiting to get bored. I did however sign-up as a volunteer at the hospital, just the other day. I loved my job too, and until I got away from it I didn't realize how much stress I was under and what it was doing to me. I recommend people to retire as soon as they can afford it.
