Had a bunch of jacket nests under the wrap over sheathing on my pole barn and was at a loss as to how to get rid of them. Waited until evening and took my pressure washer with a pencil spray nozzle and basically pounded them out of existence.

I just removed a hornets nest they built in a few days on the SIDE of our MH. Right on the site , and included the awning end that unlocks. I use 2 cans f the spray 25 ft. stuff, then it took most of a day to remove the nest, starting with a water hose and nozzle. Next day the were 8 that returned to re-make the nest, Mass Murderer me got them with another shot of spray 25 ft. stuff. To top that 2 days later I was cleaning brush in the lower 40 and ground wasps got me really good, I waited till dark and murdered them too, but this time I got the whole nest at once. I reckon it is the season...and I will keep a good supply of spray handy.

This brings to mind for me that we keep the 25' wasp sprayer around for personal protection instead of taking our gun(s) with us. Can you imagine what a shot of this would do to a person?

I just use the 25 foot spray at home, I carry personal protection every where else I go, even have a 410 pistol in a scabbard mounted to my tractor, we do have wild hogs and Coyotes in the swamp , I do not think the spray would do as much good as the gun does.

Well, maybe it's just me, but if there is any way I can keep from killing a human, I will. A blast of hornet spray in the face will totally incapacitate that person.

Spray the nest area with Pine Sol. I dilute it about half water, half pine sol....roofer taught me this and it works. i put it in one of those pump garden sprayers....that way I can be a bit away. A lot cheaper than the cans of spray. I buy the gallon at Sams Club
