For those wondering.... I empty my dual tank Campbell Hausfield by opening the wingut (petcock) on the bottom of both tanks, whenever I am done using it. Fired her up today, with both petcocks open---no moisture.
I wire-wheeled both rims, installed new tires, filled em up with air, mowed the back 40.
Mystery not solved---but the lawn has been mowed----ALL IS WELL.
