Water is froze does it hurt to leave hot water heater on ?

My water is froze at our park, does it hurt to leave the hot water heater on or should it be off. temperature is still below freezing. Seems if I leave it on at least it won't freeze with water in it ...

If it was me? I'd leave HW heater on, along with furnace to keep belly of the trailer warm. I hope to heading to a state park near Dallas tomorrow (so long as roads are not icy!). When freezing temps are forecast, I make sure I have plenty of water in FW tank and disconnect, drain and store my water hose.
