water pump not priming UPDATED PROBLEM FIXED
I just de-winterized our new Gray Wolf 26BH this afternoon and have a problem. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if I have an issue but I suspect an issue. Before I picked up the camper they did a water system check according to them but it's been setting with antifreeze for the last 6 weeks.
I got all the antifreeze drained out and had a very hard time getting the pump to prime on fresh water and getting all the air out of the water lines. Anyway I finally got the pump too prime but for some reason when I run water I don't seem to get very much pressure and one time it will prime and the next time it won't prime. The pump will run very hard for a minute then run very softly if that makes sense. like It will catch up one time and another time it won't. Am I missing something by chance or does it sound like it needs to go back to the dealer? It is brand new after all. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
