Okay....how about an upgraded tradition: Whomever is in the passenger seat (be it truck, RV or MC) is the designated waver (wavist?). The driver's hands stay on the wheel for the sake of safety.
Btw, when we're in our daily driver we ALWAYS stop if we see an RVer broken down on the side of the road or in a parking lot -unless there's someone else already there to help. Pulling over the MH would probably cause more problems than our assistance would be worth!
