It helped, but not the wonder product. Getting ready to refinish the outside of the camper and even 303 the canvas and the bottom of my canoe (which reminds me of the surface of the toilet innards). Got me to thinking...and now asking?Aerospace 303? Turtle wax? Sexwax? Share your secrets (well, not ALL of them, this is a family forum ;) )

I fill it with water first..seems to work fine most of the time..other wise I have a toilet brush right there

No, I wouldn't consider waxing the inside of the toilet!

If you want to coat it with something you may want to try Rejex. They saw nothing will stick to it but the shine. It is also used on the outside of the rv to make things nice and shiney

To save fresh water and to speed things up, I have an old 2.5 gal. detergent bottle filled with with water. On my rig filling the bowl is a balancing act. Too much pedal and it flushes, not enough, takes forever.I also use a full bottle to prime the black tank, this way I know how much water I added and after dumping, I empty a full bottle in the toilet to flush the black tank. Not noticed this being a problem yet (yeah, we're from the lower climes, where bacon grease is a common food ingredient), but I did have a suggestion:

We regularly clean the kitty litter box. When it's dry from washing, we spray it thoroughly with Pledge furniture polish, let it dry, then add litter. Makes the shoveling so much easier...

That might work in an RV toilet, whether plastic or ceramic. And you don't have to put on gloves, reach in and rub it around. Just clean, let dry, spray, let dry, use it.

I will be keeping the Metamucil idea in mind, though, should it become an issue...

Now one more thing out there can help with the more aromatic part of doing one's bidnez: try this on the water's surface before sitting down:

Got a confession to make about my toilet. When I restored the trailer, I did some maintenance on the old Aquamagic avocado-green plastic crapper. Part of that maintenance was cleaning the bowl because the PO had used it as a storage bin. I'm guessing he never used the Aquamagic for it's intended purpose as there were marks from tools and dirt in the bowl.
I ended up using rubbing compound to remove the scratches and polishing the inside and outside until it gleamed. Besides having to wear sunglasses when using it for it's intended purpose, it is working 100% with no wear marks.
