Not the moon, my TT. :) Just curious if anyone has used liquid spray wax on the trailer to protect it. I hate waxing my truck, so waxing those big slabs of metal on the trailer makes me want to cry.
I washed it today with Meguiars wash and wax, not sure how it can wax if its a cleaner......
f
There are several types of wax and well
Liquid Spary Wax. like the HOT wax at the car wash.. have used.> Good "in between" product
Spray on from a bottle (Dri Wash, RV Solution, Et-al) Have used, work well These are wipe on/wipe off products
Foam from a "Spray" can (Turtle Zip Wax) have used (Nice) also Turtle Wax ICE, and just about every Turtle wax, All nice
Paste wax,, lots of work but still the best
Now that the engine is toast and I can't move w/o tow truck I'm not washing and waxing (just washing from time to time) but once I get 'er running again I'll go back to twice a year
Fact: Normal MPG. around 8-9
Frsh Wax 10-11 Think about that. Same road, Same trip. Same conditons (not towing)
Towing a 1992 Chevy Lumina APV (4,000 pounds) MPG, no different
Towing a 2001 Dodge Neon (2500 pounds) I loose about 1 MPH
Why is the lighter car "heavier" to tow? Combination of how we deal with the automatic transmission and air flow (The Lumina had an axle lock, the Neon a lube pump).
