WD hitch needed for short TT and short wheelbase vehicle?

To regain some flexibility in my preferred type of travel, I've thought about getting a little (14-20' and under 3000#)) travel trailer that could be towed with my Lexus Land Cruiser (rated for 6500#)...

A WDH removes some weight added to the tow vehicle's rear axle and replaces what was lost on the TV front axle. In my experience, anything over about 400 pounds of loaded TW on a full sized half ton TV is when a WDH is beneficial. Besides that, your receiver may have two ratings for weight carrying and with a WDH. That is another reason to use.

In short, double axle TT = use WDH preferably with integrated sway control.
