So if you significant other cut an artery, you could unhook while holding pressure on the wound until the ambulance got there? Or maybe while performing CPR if it was a heart issue?
It's not always as easy as we first think.
Hooked or unhooked if I'm supplying emergency first aid once the EMT's arrive and start a transport my spouses needs are being attended to. I can unhook, ride in the ambulance, do whatever. Don't think I want to go through life preparing for the worst around every corner.
