We avoid areas where our Second Amendment is not observed, along with others.

Traveling through some of them with a firearm even stored under lock and key is not enough and can get you locked up.
There have been situations where the firearm is available it was comforting and in some cases necessary.
According to TD Bank, in spite of our crappy dollar, Canadians spent over 20 billion visitng the US in 2016. Americans spent less than half that visiting Canada.
Firearms are not used for self defence in Canada and people who have them readily availble make Canadians uncomfortable.
